Rising LA sextet The Sophs have revealed their new track, ‘GOLDSTAR’. It’s a ferocious track laced with a punk energy, poppy hooks and distinctly Latin influences in its scales and percussive choices. Frontman Ethan Ramon explains that the new single is “the worst person you know yelling at God to give them a sign that they are good. In a deliberately unserious way, we want the song to prompt the same question that the album raises, which is - if you are a good person for the wrong reasons, does that detract from your goodness?” ‘GOLDSTAR’ drops alongside the announcement of their debut album of the same name, which is due for release on March 13th, 2026. The band also have an extensive tour planned for this year. They’ll be hitting the USA, Europe and the UK. -Dan Peeke
